CONVENTION INSTRUCTIONS

IT'S CONVENTION TIME!!

By now, you should have received a confirmation from Youth Unlimited.  If you have not, call them at 616-241-5616 to make sure that you are registered.

Friday, July 2
6:15 a.m. Meet at church to carpool to Midway  (please please please be on time)
8:30 a.m. ATA flight 301 departs Midway
10:37 a.m. Arrival in Los Angeles
--once in LA, we will be taking a shuttle to the UCLA campus

Tuesday, July 6
--watch the convention newsletter to see where/when to catch our shuttle to the airport.
4:55 p.m. ATA flight 306 departs Los Angeles
10:41 p.m. Arrival at Midway
11:45 p.m. Arrival at church

We will carpool to and from church and the airport, so it is not necessary for your parents to drive you to the airport or pick you up at the airport.

What to bring:
--ONE piece of luggage to check on the plane
--ONE piece of luggage to carry on the plane (a small backpack)
In these pieces, pack the following:
Bible, alarm clock, sunscreen, swimsuit, beach towel, toiletries, camera, sweatshirt, sunglasses, water bottle, spending money, radio w/headphones, snacks, games, a good attitude.
*Sheets and towels will be provided in your room.
*Pack your registration confirmation sheet in a place where it will be easily accessible.   You will need it to register.
*No fans are needed, the rooms are air-conditioned!  Yeah!!
*Pack light!  Check with your roommate to see if you can share some things (blow dryers, curling irons, alarm clocks, etc.)

When we return.....
We will be giving a report to the congregation on Sunday, July 18. 
Mark your calendar!  We’ll meet in Deb’s office at 8:50 a.m. to figure out what’s going on.  Plan on being there!
