Monday Story – Creation (from Genesis 1 and 2) Verse – Psalm 139:14 "O God, I praise you, for I am wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works." Wow! Phrase – Wow! God is an awesome creator. Wow! What a God! The children will learn they are living in the middle of God’s Great Gallery; and by exploring God’s wonderful work of creation, the children will know that they are created by God and will begin to see all that God has created. Tuesday Story – The Servant Girl & Naaman (from 2 Kings 5:1-15) Verse – Psalm 9:1 "I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the wonderful things you have done." Wow! Phrase – Wow! God cares for everyone. Wow! What a God! The children will learn they are living in the middle of God’s Great Gallery; and by exploring God’s wonderful work through people, the children will learn that God cares for everyone. Wednesday Story – Jesus Calms the Storm (from Mark 4:35-41) Verse – John 14:27 "Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid." Wow! Phrase – Wow! Jesus is powerful. Wow! What a God! The children will learn they are living in the middle of God’s Great Gallery; and by exploring God’s wonderful work of peace, the children will come to know the power of God through Jesus. Thursday Story – Mary in the Garden (from John 20:1-18) Verse – Mark 16:15 "Jesus said, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation." Wow! Phrase – Wow! Jesus is alive. Wow! What a God! The children will learn they are living in the middle of God’s Great Gallery; and by exploring God’s wonderful work of new life, the children will come to know Jesus’ love and to tell others that Jesus is alive. Friday Story – Pentecost (from Acts 2:1-43) Verse – Mark 16:15 "Jesus said, "God into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation." Wow! Phrase – Wow! God is with us. Wow! What a God! The children will learn they are living in the middle of God’s Great Gallery; and by exploring God’s wonderful work of sending the Holy Spirit, the children will come to know that God is with them. |
